Chelsea N., PT, DPT

Chelsea was born and raised in a suburb of Buffalo, New York.  She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Siena College in Albany, NY.  Chelsea then attended physical therapy school at Daemen College, graduating with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2018. Her most memorable moments from college were being a member of the cross country team and studying abroad for a semester in Ecuador.  After graduation, Chelsea worked at a hospital in Buffalo before beginning her journey as a travel PT with her best friend and fellow ECPT therapist, Elysia.

In January of 2019, Chelsea started her first travel PT assignment, spending 15 months in Indianola, Mississippi.  Her second travel assignment took her to Sierra Vista, Arizona where she spent 10 months.  In February of 2020, she made the journey to Alaska but decided to stay after falling in love with Alaska’s beauty, accepting a full time position at ECPT.

When she’s not in the clinic, Chelsea loves to spend time outdoors - running, hiking, or biking.  She ran her first marathon in Las Vegas in November of 2019 and plans to run many more in the near future.  Her favorite time in her life has been traveling around the country with Elysia.  Some of her favorite places she has visited are Arches National Park in Utah, Lake Powell in Page, AZ and Eklutna Lake right here in Alaska.

Chelsea is certified in Functional Movement Techniques through RockTape®, including kinesiology taping and tool-assisted soft tissue mobilization. She is also a pelvic floor physical therapy specialist, educated through The Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. Chelsea is looking forward to getting to know all of her patients, and plans to find personalized ways to help each patient achieve all of their therapy goals and improve their overall quality of life.
